How easy is it to make a deepfake video?

A deepfake is a fake video or image using artificial intelligence (deep learning) to maliciously spread disinformation.  This is a huge cyber-security risk on many fronts.  Ever want to put words in a politicians mouth that they did not say?  Ever want to look like a superstar on the dance floor but you have two left feet.  All this is now possible using deep learning to make fake videos and photos.  The phrase don’t always believe what you see on the Internet is now more true than ever.  Artificial intelligence will be able to back up fake news with actual videos and photographs.  Sounds scary?  It definitely is.  The world is changing faster than ever so it is necessary to keep up with technology that may create information that is not only inaccurate, but backed up by fake videos and photos.  One of the videos below uses deepfake technology to bring together five movie stars to discuss the streaming wars and the future of cinema.  This is just the beginning.  If we are capable of doing this today, where will we be in a year?
